I am a strong supporter of the 2nd Amendment. My father taught me how to hunt, and I am proud to be a gun owner. My family has lived in this district for four generations and gun ownership is an important part of our heritage.

The NRA has awarded me an "A" rating for my efforts to defend Second Amendment rights. I pledge to oppose any attempt by the federal government to undermine the Second Amendment and infringe on our constitutional right to bear arms.
