On Andy Tobin’s use of the Phoenix VA scandal for political attacks:

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING AT: Tobin's claim on Facebook, and similarly worded claims on Twitter, that U.S. Rep. Ann Kirkpatrick, D-AZ, who is running for re-election in the 1st Congressional District, knew about the Veterans Affairs whistleblower allegations but chose to not take action.

BOTTOM LINE: Tobin's comments about Kirkpatrick are false. It did not take months for Kirkpatrick to do something about the scandal at the VA.
