Today we remember the men and women who lost their lives on September 11th. These events shook our nation, our world, and each one of us – and we will never forget that painful day. For those who rushed in so that they might save others, we owe our highest honor and greatest thanks. The American spirit lives on stronger today, resolved to bring about a more perfect union for our United States and unwavering in the belief in the promise of freedom and justice for all. My prayers today are with the families of the victims of the September 11th attacks.
