Arizona Republic: Rep. Ann Kirkpatrick pushes mine-bill revision
WASHINGTON - Rep. Ann Kirkpatrick introduced a revised bill Thursday that could speed up congressional action on development of North America's largest copper mine and bring an estimated 1,400 jobs to the Superior area.

Kirkpatrick could now bypass the House Natural Resources Committee, where her bill faces opposition from fellow Rep. Raúl Grijalva, D-Ariz.
